Are you in need of prescription eyeglasses but cannot afford them? Do you have eyeglasses that you have taped back together again because they are broken, and you are trying to make do? Did you lose your glasses and are struggling to see? Or do you have a prescription but not the funds to purchase glasses? Well, the Union County Lions Club has you covered - fill out an application and give it to one of your friendly neighborhood Lions Club members!

There are 2 Vision Clinics scheduled in December on the 4th and the 17th. Clinics are held at the Fountain City Lions Club on North Broadway in Fountain City. Dr. Larry Zubel, OD, and Dr. John Dawson, MD, along with a team of volunteers from several area Lions Clubs, will be on hand to evaluate your vision and provide a prescription for you. Some lenses can be made onsite, and you can take them home with you. More complex prescriptions will be sent out and can be picked up at the next scheduled Clinic. There is a large selection of frames to pick from – and you get to choose the one you like!
