The Union County Line Dancers. led by Janie Hamilton visited the Maynardville Nursing Home “Willow Ridge”, on Wednesday Nov. 26th, to entertain the residents. The residents enjoyed the dancers very much.

The group of dancers then went to the Maynardville Food City for their first ever “Flash Mob”. The store was busy since it was the day before Thanksgiving and shoppers were busy. When the music started over the loud speakers, the dancers started dancing in front of the registers. People gathered around with their phones rolling. A few shoppers even joined in on the dancing. The employees especially enjoyed the few minutes of fun. If you’d like to learn how to Line Dance, classes are on Wednesdays 9:30-11:00 at the Union County Senior Center on Main Street. Sharps Chapel Senior Center the third Thursdays of each month, 6:00-7:00.
