Agriculture Community Gathers for Annual Picnic & Auction in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, TN — Families, farmers, and friends are warmly invited to an evening of food, fun, and fellowship at the much-anticipated Annual Picnic & Auction, hosted by the Knox-Union Cattlemens Association on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit 4-H programs in Knox and Union Counties, helping to cultivate the next generation of agricultural leaders.
The festivities will be held at the picturesque Heartland Meadows, located at 5428 Salem Church Road, Knoxville, TN. Known for its southern charm and welcoming atmosphere, the venue sets the perfect backdrop for this cherished community tradition. The event begins at 5:00 PM, with the live auction kicking off at 6:30 PM. Admission is free, and all farm families are encouraged to attend.
What to Expect:
A free, all beef hamburger dinner for guests

“This event is a great way to bring the agricultural community together while offering a fun evening for the whole family,” said DeWayne Bledsoe, President of the Knox-Union Cattlemens Association. “It’s also a chance to support local producers and enjoy some great food and entertainment.”
