Ruth Kelly Collins, 90, of Plainview, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2025, at her home. Born on May 16, 1935, in Plainview Community, Tennessee, Ruth lived a vibrant and fulfilling life, touching the hearts of all who knew her with her boundless warmth and radiant spirit.

A proud graduate of Horace Maynard High School, class of 1953, Ruth dedicated 55 years of her career to Reeder Chevrolet and Booker Chevrolet. She cherished her time with co-workers, who became like family, and approached her work with joy and commitment. Beyond her professional life, Ruth was a devoted traveler, marveling at the wonders of the world created by her Lord. Her love for life shone through in her passion for watching sports, cheering at her grandchildren’s games, and ensuring everyone around her was filled with laughter and joy.

Ruth was a beautiful person, inside and out, always striving to bring smiles to her children and grandchildren. Her infectious enthusiasm and caring nature left an indelible mark on her family and community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Gertie Kelly; her brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Wilma Kelly; her daughter, Theresa Collins; and her former husband, Curtis Collins. Ruth is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Marlene Collins; granddaughter and husband, Kelly and Tim Lewis; grandson and wife, Joshua and LaRanda Collins; grandson and wife, Austin and Haven Collins; great-grandchildren, Iris Lewis, Patrick Lewis, Neyland Collins, and Addie Grace Collins; and beloved great-grand-dog, Watson Collins.

A receiving of friends will be held at Trinity Funeral Home in Maynardville on September 16, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. With service to follow with Reverend Eddie Muncey officiating. Burial services will take place at Sharp Cemetery in Luttrell on September 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with the procession meeting at Trinity Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Cedar Ford Baptist Church in Luttrell.
