Scott Cook-age 82 of the Claxton Community passed away suddenly Thursday morning, December 18, 2025 at South Knoxville Senior Living. He was a veteran of the U S. Amy. Preceded in death by parents, Floyd and Minnie (Miller) Cook; wife, Pamela Louise (Shivers) Cook; son Scott Lee Cook; sister Lula Bell Melton.

Survivors: son, Robert Cook and wife, Amy Cook; granddaughter, Shannon Weatherford; four great-grandchildren, MaKenna, Ellie, Barrett and Carter. Sister, Barbara McNeely of Seymour; nephews, James Melton, Jr. and wife, Wendy; Robert McNeely, Jr. and wife, Desiree; great-nephew, Cory Melton, great-niece, Brittany Melton along with a host of other relatives and friends.
