Regina Dillingham
Regina Dillingham, age 73 of Maynardville, Tennessee passed peacefully at home on Monday, August 25, 2025. Born January 14th, 1952 in Gadsden, Alabama, currently residing in Maynardville, Tennessee. She was the 1st child of 5 children born to Rev. Charles and Jimmie Dean McClure.
A longtime business owner in Knoxville and Madisonville with her husband Jesse Dillingham. Regina was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Church of God at Maynardville and loved attending Church. She was a great singer and sang in Church as she was growing up. She was an animal lover and loved to go fishing and traveling with her husband in their RV. Regina never remarried after the death of her husband Jesse Prince Dillingham III. They were soulmates for 45 years, living and working together in their mobile home business. They both loved cooking and having family and friends over for dinners. Regina loved and spoiled her grandchildren, Jenny and Josh, and great-grandchildren Jeremiah, Harlie and Kasen.
Regina is preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Jesse Prince Dillingham III, Father, Rev. Charles W. McClure Sr., Mother, Jimmie Dean McClure, Mother-in-Law, Virginia “Dilly" Dillingham, brother-in-law Robert Kinson "Kenny" Dillingham, Nephew, Robie McClure Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Candy (Chris) Haynes, 2 grandchildren, Josh Steele (Kendall), Jenny Gaddis, 3 great-grandchildren Jeremiah Dillingham, Kasen Steele and Harlie Letner. She is also survived by her 4 brothers and sisters, Angela (Benny) Garcia, Rev. Charlie (Billie)McClure, LaDeana (Dwight) Savage, Robie (Celeste) McClure and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 29th at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2025, Church of God at Maynardville, 1599 Main St. held by Rev A.V. King, Obituary read by Rev. Joey Hopson, music by The McClure Family, Ashlee Savage-Weeks and Brittany Muncey. A graveside service will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Maynardville. Graveside service conducted by Rev. Joey Hopson with a music instrumental by great grandson Jeremiah Jesse Dillingham, Pallbearers: Josh Steele, Jeremiah Dillingham, Robie McClure, Benito Garcia, Michael Savage, and Thomas Weeks. Honorary Pallbearers: Chris Haynes and Dwight Savage. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
