Peggy Jane Palmer – age 86 of Sharps Chapel, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 19, 2025. Peggy loved to ride motorcycles, fishing, going to the beach and loved the casino. She is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Palmer; son, Larry Slimp; parents, Helen and Clarance Kennedy; sisters, Jean McMahan, Joan Harmon, Gail McCubbins; brother, Robert Kennedy.

She is survived by her daughters, Kenna Minton and husband Roy, Laura Everett and husband Max; grandchildren, Aleshia Banks, Megan Slimp, Colt Minton and wife Julie, Cherish and husband John; great-grandchildren, Maxton, Colton, Easton, Houston, Gage, Maci; sisters, Betty Pratt, Judy Chandler; several nieces and nephews; special pet, “Pickles”. The family would like to extend a special thank you to UT Hospice for their care and to Nurse Victoria.
