Patricia Dukes Henderson-age 74, of Bowling Green, KY, entered into rest at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY surrounded by her children. She was born June 28, 1951 in Luttrell, TN to the late Lois Imogene Smith (Washam) and Fred Douglas Dukes.

Pattie was a light to all who knew her – kind, gentle, and sincere. She was of the Christian faith and a member of the First Baptist Church. Her presence brought warmth into every room. She loved deeply and generously, especially her children and grandchildren. They were the pride of her life and deeply treasured the time spent with them. Her legacy will live on in the kindness and love she shared and gave so freely. Pattie was an avid gardener and an amazing cook. She was an excellent quilter, a lover of arts and crafts, and enjoyed being in nature. She passed these interests on to her children and grandchildren as well.

In addition to her parents, Pattie was preceded in death by her sisters Nalda (Carlos) Slaughter, Reba (Jesse) Herron, Illah Dukes, and Judy (Ronnie) Bailey. She was also preceded by her brothers, Roy (Betty) Dukes and Ted (Mattie) Dukes.

Pattie is survived by her two children, Matthew (Tonya) Coram of Bowling Green, KY and Brentni (John) Langdon of Fuquay-Varina, NC. Pattie is survived by seven grandchildren, Isaac Coram, Owen King, Darby Langdon, Cassie Langdon, Zoe Langdon, Aiden Langdon, and Lindy Langdon. She is also survived by two sisters and one brother, Brenda (David) Pollard, Freda Reed, and Eugene (Maple) Dukes. In addition, she leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends that will miss her greatly and cherish her memory.

In keeping with Pattie’s wishes, a graveside service will be held at 2:00pm EST on December 14, 2025 at Dukes-Washam Cemetery in Luttrell, TN with Rev. Darrell Williams officiating. A funeral procession will leave from the Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville, TN at 1:30pm. Pallbearers: John Langdon, Isaac Corum, Ryan Reed, Ritchie Washam, Dody Roach, Anthony Williams, Brian Washam. Honorary Pallbearers: The Horace Maynard High School Class of 1969 and Mona Wallace, Owen King, Lowell Washam, Terry Washam, Darcy Williams. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
