Mary Ann McBee Walker
Mary Ann McBee Walker
Born: 1-19-1936 Died: 10-20-2026
Mary Ann passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her children and sister. She was a precious gift from God to her entire family and she sacrificed much in life to raise her children and give them a Christian home. Her love was unending, she made sure her grandchildren and their children would know without doubt that they were all special in their own unique ways. There were no favorites because she made sure her family was treated as equally as possible. She will be missed beyond measure, but we are glad she is no longer in pain and is rejoicing in Heaven with Jesus and her family gone on before.
Mary Ann was a long-time member of Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church where she taught her children to sing for the Lord, and although she was not able to attend for many years, the Lord was always with her. She worked as a secretary for DHS/DCS for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vaughn McBee and Faye Houston McBee; grandchildren, Jessica Catrin Rouse, and Joshua Lance Walker; great-grandson, Houston Duane Grimm; siblings, Peggy McBee Williams and Raymond McBee.
She is survived by her children, Kathy Rouse, Donna Bailey (Mitchell), Randall Walker (Donna), and Pam Williams (Tim); grandchildren, Mindy Grimm (Joe), Michelle Ridgway (Josh), McKenzie Reeves (Ethan), Justin Walker, Jeremy Walker, Daniel Williams (Brittany), and Corey Williams (Kasha); 21 great-grandchildren, 1 great great-grandson; sister, Betty Dalton; sister-in law, JoAnn Mcbee; several nieces and nephews.
