Marcella Sharp-age 76 of Sharps Chapel passed away Monday, February 3, 2025 at her home. She was a member of Taylor’s Grove Baptist Church and a retired employee of Sharps Chapel School. She is reunited with her loving husband, William David Sharp, also preceded in death by parents, Arbra and Lucy (Cook) Eastridge; brothers, Infant Lonnie, Bill, Fred, Clyde, Pete, Doyle Eastridge and Walter Cook; sister, Betty Jo Eastridge.

Survivors: son, Rev. Tim (Tiffany) Sharp; daughters, Sherry and Brian Owens, Stacy and Rev. Andy Lynn. Five grandchildren, Kara and Josh Peters, Jacob Lynn (Shelby Watson), Ryan and Cassidy Sharp, Elise Eastridge, Emma Eastridge; three great-grandchildren, Carson Peters, Layton Peters, Kholston Peters. Brothers, Lawrence Eastridge and Bud Eastridge. Special devoted friends, Pauline Bell and Allen Buckner. Several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2025, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary. Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 5, 2025, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Tim Sharp, Rev. Brian Liford and Rev. Greg Sharp officiating with music by Kara Peters and Rev. Andy Lynn. Interment will follow at Taylor’s Grove Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Pallbearers: Josh Peters, Jacob Lynn, Ryan Sharp, Rev. Andy Lynn, Kenny Keck, James (Pick) Weaver. Honorary pallbearers: Members of Taylor’s Grove Baptist Church.
