Kay Glann

Kay Frances Glann – 76 of Knoxville, passed peacefully into the arms of her loving savior on Sunday, November 2, 2025. She was born on May 31, 1949, to Clinton and Charlotte Older. Kay was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, prayer warrior, friend and a true light in a dark world. Kay smiled often, sang freely, prayed continuously and loved with her entire being. Laughter always filled any room she was in and you never left without a full belly and a full heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Charlotte Older; brother, Sonny Older; and sisters, Loraine White and Belle Goss. Kay is survived by her husband of 58 years, John William Glann; children, Danielle (Dave) Oliver, John (Jessica) Glann, Rachel (Donnie Wood) Greenfield, Jacob Glann and nephew/adopted son, Eddie Kraszewski; grandchildren, David Oliver, Nicole (Spencer) White, Jacqueline (Clay) Campbell, Jay Stockman, Robert (Alaina) Karas, Carrissa Boldt, Trenton (Storm) Wix, Clayton (Bri) Wix, John Glann III, Stephen (Abby) Glann, Kaitlynd Glann, Bridgett Glann and Isabella Glann; as well as countless “adopted” sons, daughters and grandchildren because she always opened her heart to more family.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 6, 2025 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. The service to follow with Pastor Jason Sharpe, of Heritage Fellowship Church of God officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:00 noon, Friday, November 7, 2025 to proceed to New Loyston Memorial Gardens for a 1:00 p.m., graveside service.
