Johnny Neil Adams-age 65 of Knoxville passed away suddenly Thursday, May 29, 2025, at his home. He was a retired employee of Merit Construction. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles Adams, Jr. and Jessie (Kelly) Adams; twin brothers, Larry Adams and Gary Adams; sister, Linda Williams; nephew, Charlie “Chuck” Hunter.

He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Christy and Jonathan Nicley, Maynardville, Victoria “Lori” Lewis and husband Andy of Knoxville; sons, Tucker Lynn Adams, Skyler Shane Adams both of Knoxville; grandchildren, Jasper Nicley, Jordin Nicley, Jaylynn Nicley; great grandchild, Colton Issac Adams; brothers, Eddie Adams and wife, Mary of Luttrell, Terry Adams and wife, Jorita of Jefferson City; sisters, Glenda Sue Hunter of Luttrell, Rhonda Butler and husband Leory of Morristown, Brenda Bryant of Luttrell and several nieces and nephews along with a host of friends.

Graveside 6 P.M. Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Dyer Cemetery, Powder Springs, Ricky Merritt officiating and music by Doug Williams. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 5:45 P.M. Saturday.
