Christopher Alan White

Christopher Alan White, age 60, of Nevada, Missouri, passed away on November 3, 2025, surrounded by family in Independence, Missouri. Although his death was unexpected and tragic, his transition was peaceful, for which his family is deeply grateful.

Born in Jefferson City, Tennessee on June 6, 1965, Chris was a lifelong Tennessee Volunteers fan. He lived in seven states throughout the years, graduating from Miller County High School in Colquitt, Georgia. His work experience spanned a variety of interests, including the medical field, security, nonprofit work, and his infamous stint as the WKYQ rabbit mascot. Chris enjoyed fishing, bowling (playing in several recreational leagues), card games (Rook was his favorite taught to him by his grandmother), and word search puzzles. Others knew Chris as someone eager to help, quick to include, and loyal to those he loved. More than anything, Chris loved his daughter -- the greatest joy and source of pride in his life.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul Baker, Ruth Goin, Lee White, and Zella White; parents, Bobby White and Deanna White; nephew, Kyler Williams; aunts, Doris Jordan and Judy Baker; uncle, Jay Capps; and cousins, Kirk Jordan and Rusty Bailey. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Baylee White; siblings, Tony White (Robin), Tina Williams (Brad), and Emily Youree (Bryan); nieces and nephews, Chase White (Sheena), Corey White (Candice), Casey White (Stephanie), Codey White (Lizzey), Corbin White (Jordan), Kristen Williams, Kullen Williams (Allie), Anna Zane Youree, and Louisa Youree; several great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
