Chester Butler – age 84 of Union County, Tennessee, passed after an extended battle with pancreatic cancer on February 7, 2026.

He is preceded in death by infant daughter, Kimberly. Chester is survived by wife, Frances; sons, John (Leanne) and Jay; grandchildren, Justin (Kelsey), Jordyn and Autumn; great granddaughter, Charlotte; brother, Daniel (Sandra); and many extended family members and friends, including very special in-laws.

Family and friends are invited to come as they are for a casual evening of remembrance for Chester at Trinity Funeral Home in Maynardville. There will be no formal service, drop in anytime between 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Chester will be laid to rest at Miller Cemetery alongside his daughter, Kimberly, in a private service. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Chester.
