The Union County FCE (Home Demonstration) Club traveled to Gatlinburg for a two day Spring Fling. Members took an assortment of classes and celebrated our 250th.

The Eastern Region of Family Communication Clubs came together to have an adult-like 4-H event. This replaced the Spring Camp that always took place in Greenville at the Clyde Austin Camp. There was entertainment, games, good food (Ramsey’s), fellowship and more.

Through the UT Extension Office our club has been around since 1917. Big Ridge is the last remaining club out of 28 clubs.

The UC Family and Community Education (FCE) Club gathered in February for a wonderful morning of learning, fellowship and delicious food at the Extension Office. Members enjoyed an informative program focused on heart health, just in time for American Heart Month.

The Union County Family and Community Education (FCE) Club invites community members to attend its February meeting on Thursday, February 19, at 10:00 a.m. at the Union County Extension Office.

This month’s program will focus on heart health and healthy cooking choices. Special guest Anna Marie from the Union County Health Department will share practical tips for protecting your heart, improving everyday eating habits, and making small lifestyle changes that can lead to better overall health.
