Sherri Gayle Archer-age 65 of Harrogate, formerly of Maynardville, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at her home. She was a retired schoolteacher with Horace Maynard Middle School and was the Assistant Librarian. She was a graduate of Horace Maynard High School, Class of 1979. Preceded in death by her husband, Victor Archer; parents, Tip and Doris (Houston) Ingle; brother, Bobby Ingle; sister-in-law, Maryanna (Keck) Ingle.

She is survived by her daughter, Haley Wade and husband, Matthew; son, Robert Archer; grandchildren, Adelynn and Sawyer Wade; brothers, Craig Ingle, Kyle Ingle; nephew, Matthew Houston and several other relatives and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Saturday, June 13, 2026, with funeral service to follow at 7 pm, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville, Rev. Paul Thomas Hughes officiating with music by Mavis Hughes. Burial 2 pm Sunday, June 14, 2026, Houston Cemetery, Maynardville. Family and friends will meet 1:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home to go with the procession. Pallbearers: Family and friends. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
