Scott “Tater” Johnson – age 54 of Maynardville, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Tater was saved at a young age. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and fishing. He was employed at Clayton Homes in Maynardville. Tater is preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Marie Johnson; brother, Wayne Johnson; sister, Sharon Washam; nephew, B.T. Johnson.

Tater is survived by his sons, Hunter Johnson, Luke Johnson; granddaughter, Harper; brothers, Glen (Kelsey) Johnson, Kenny (Jami) Johnson; sister, Karen (Virgil) Anderson; special friend, Kim Johnson; his little buddy Spencer and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Cooke-Campbell Mortuary with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm, Rev. Allen Giles officiating, music by David, Jess and Abbie. Interment service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Big Barren Cemetery. Pallbearers: Andrew Anderson, Jordan Johnson, Justin Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Stanley Campbell, Toney Bull. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 am at the funeral home on Tuesday to go with the funeral procession. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary in Maynardville.
