Rita Gaye Dyke Collins-age 68 of Sharps Chapel went home to be with Jesus Friday, April 17, 2026, on her mommy’s birthday. She was saved at an early age and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She wore the title of mom, mamaw, uncle mamaw, sister, and friend. She thoroughly enjoyed sewing and we are so appreciative for the “sewing ladies.” Preceded in death by her parents, Hubert Pete and Bertha Faye Dyke; son, Carl Sharp; son-in-law, Dewayne Kitts.

She is survived by her daughters, Crystal Kitts and Miranda Sharp; grandkids, Kesha and Josh Pilkerton, Keely and Ridge Collins, Keona and Cory Smith, Kendra Sharp, Justin and Leah Sharp, Logan and Miranda Wollard, Jordan and Alexis Kitts, McKenzie and Dakota Parks, Branson Sharp; 11 great grandkids; brothers, Bart, Leon, and Roddy Dyke; sister, Abigail Roberts.

The family will receive friends 5 to 7 pm Saturday, April 18, 2026, with the funeral service to follow at 7 pm Saturday, Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Joe Graves officiating. Interment 2 pm Sunday, April 19, 2026, Oak Grove Cemetery, Sharps Chapel. Family and friends will meet 1 pm Sunday at the funeral home to go with the procession. Pallbearers: Justin Sharp, Logan Wollard, Jordan Kitts, Branson Sharp. Arrangements by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
