James Ricky Johnson – age 75 of Maynardville, a loving husband and father, who went to be with our Lord on April 18, 2026. He passed peacefully surrounded by his family, including his wife of 57 years, Charlotte Mae Johnson. He was a hard worker who loved and provided for his family.

He is preceded in death by parents, Cecil and Viola (Loveday) Johnson; and 5 younger siblings. He will be missed more than words can describe by his wife, Charlotte; and his family including daughters and sons-in-laws, Christy and John Williams, Jamey and David Neff; son and daughter-in-law, James, Jr. and Carrie Johnson; grandsons, Johnnie Williams, James Johnson, III and Bryson Johnson; granddaughters, Melodie Cable, Brittany Neff, Lauren Williams, Lindsey Johnson and Adeline Johnson; great grandchildren, Sophie Cable, Alexander Neff and Sawyer Cable.

The family will receive friends, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m., Saturday, April 25, 2026 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel followed with Military Honors conducted by Tri-County Honor Guard The service to follow with Reverend Jimmy Davidson officiating.
