James F. Zachary- age 67 of Powder Springs, passed away Thursday November 2, 2023 at North Knoxville Medical Center. James was a member of Powder Springs Baptist Church. Preceded in death by wife, Glenda Zachary; mother and father, Anglee and Clay Zachary; step-daughter, Leanne Tolliver; nephew, Donnie Atkins, brothers; Coy, Donald, Gene Zachary and Harley Acuff; sister, Evelyn Gaylon.

Survived by daughters, Allie Zachary, Kim (Mike) Weiland; step-son, Lynn (Julie) Wood; step-son in-law, Jeff Tolliver; sisters, Mary Zachary, Virginia (Charles) Collins, and Diane Atkins; brother, Robert Zachary; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, and a host of loving friends. A special thanks to the Tennova North Hospital staff for their exceptional care; especially to niece, Stacy Wood.

The family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday, November 5, 2023 with funeral service to follow 7 p.m. Cooke-Campbell Mortuary Chapel, Rev. Darrell Williams and Rev. Jimmy Frye officiating. Interment 2 p.m. Monday, November 6 at Doyle Wayne Needham Cemetery, Powder Springs. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home by 1 p.m. Monday to go with the procession.
