Susan Coffey secures another grant for HMMS.

Big congratulations to Mrs. Coffey, whose project “STEM for All” was recently awarded a $1,500 UCOR Education Mini-Grant. The funding will bring her innovative vision to life, giving students exciting hands-on learning opportunities.

On the athletic front, the HMMS Lady Devils Volleyball team battled through a tough week last week. Despite losses to Seymour, Northview, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg-Pittman, several players stood out with strong performances, including Avery Bowman with 5 kills, Ella Harrison with 10 digs, and Madison Lock and Neveah Jordan each serving 5 aces.
On the football front, the HMMS Red Devils earned a thrilling 24-20 win over Lake City. Briar Smith ran in a touchdown, quarterback Clay Korth threw for two scores, and Hunter Corum added another to secure the victory.

The HMMS Girls Soccer team continues to find success, defeating the North Stars 3-1 thanks to goals from Amelia Russell, Miley Collins, and Katina Canter.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils Cross Country team competed in Johnson City, where runners Jepson Haynes and Miranda Osborne set personal records.
