ET Foundation invites community to “Give Where You Live”
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 25, 2025) – The East Tennessee Foundation (ETF) is proud to announce the launch of EastTNGives—our first-ever GivingTuesday Campaign. ETF is excited to join the Global Day of Generosity on Tuesday, December 2, to help make lives better and communities stronger in East Tennessee.
EastTNGives is about local philanthropy. We invite you to ‘give where you live’ and support one of our local community funds across our 25-county service region in East Tennessee. These funds will provide grants for community needs as varied as arts and culture, youth development and education, public safety, food security and environmental and natural resources.
Each of our community funds has an advisory board made up of volunteers who live and work in the community it serves. With an entirely local presence, these volunteer leaders are in a unique position to recommend grants and deploy resources where they are needed most in each community.
“We are excited about our first-ever GivingTuesday Campaign, EastTNGives! This is an opportunity to give where you live and help make East Tennessee stronger for generations to come. We’re pleased to share that matching funds are available for each community fund on GivingTuesday. The first $50 of every donation will be matched while funds last on December 2. We hope you will join the generosity movement on Tuesday, December 2, help double your impact, and give where you live,” said Lisa Ford, Vice President of Strategic Engagement & Communications at East Tennessee Foundation.
