I look forward to the skies of September and October and their intense blue every year. Autumn skies typically have a lot of big puffy cumulus clouds as well, highlighting the blue even more. Scanning the sky from overhead to the horizon will show that the brilliant blue overhead fades to a lighter blue near the horizon. Let us delve into some sky science and see what’s going on.

Irwin Music Gathering is revisited every Tuesday night at the museum

Jack and Lorne sat soaking in the large tub on the front porch. They had spent the last three Saturdays walking behind Paw’s turn plow in the dirt and dust picking up sweet taters, placing them, first in their bucket, then in the wagon.
They were thrilled it was late October and the harvest season was at an end. They were also excited about this Saturday night. Tonight, instead of work, they would get the chance to have a bucketload of fun. It was the night of the Harvest Music Gathering at Irwin School.

Meanwhile, in small saucepan over low heat, combine the extra margarine, milk and caramels over low heat, stirring occasionally, until caramels are melted. Pour over crust. Sprinkle with nuts and reserved crumbly mixture.
